Ball Position

My good friend Harold Swash teaches a ball position 2 inches ahead of the sternum. Dave Pelz teaches exactly the same. Not wanting to take anything for granted we decided to use the Boomerang to test all theories and to find an optimum ball position.

The sternum is a handy reference point for your ball position. With the ball behind your sternum you'll lose sight of the target and positioning the ball too far toward the target will reduce the quality of your strike. We must therefore concur that a ball position 2 inches ahead of the sternum will give you the best results.
